  • Berke-Weiss & Pechman filed a lawsuit on behalf of the waitresses of Hooters of Long Island for misappropriation of tips and unlawful deduction of uniform expenses. This case was reported in the New York Post and the New York Daily News on October 30, 2009.

  • Berke-Weiss & Pechman filed a lawsuit on behalf of three waiters at Old Homestead Restaurant for alleged retaliation after being awarded damages for misappropriated tips and unpaid overtime wages in a previous lawsuit.  The case was reported in the New York Post on July 4, 2008.
